Surgical kit
To carry out operations for the installation of dental implants, a set from TM Bauer`s Implants is required. The accessories of the surgical kit are placed on the box panel so as to facilitate the work of the implantologist as much as possible. They will help to reduce the time of the operation, make it less traumatic and prevent possible complications. The special design of the implant driver allows maintaining the sterility of the implant and facilitates its manipulation. In the set:
- Long and short implant drivers for the surgical handpiece. Provide easy extraction and fixation of the implant, and then its placement in the bed;
- Screwdriver wrench for screws - long and short;
- Parallel pins - visualize the insertion path and parallelism during drilling;
- Adapter for implant driver - ratchet adapter;
- Ratchet wrench - used to tighten the implant and screws;
- Pilot drill - used for primary drilling;
- Conical and expansion drills of different diameters allow accurate and safe formation of the stock, thanks to the special markings on the drills, constant monitoring of the operation is carried out.
The surgical kit is packaged in an ergonomic box. As a “tip” to the surgeon, the instruments are arranged in multi-colored cells and are marked.

- By adhering to the drilling protocol, the Helix (Straumann) implants can achieve optimum primary stability.
- The Helix (Straumann) implant concept implies subcrestal immersion of the implant 0.5 mm.

Subcrestal implant placement
The implant immersion depth is easily controlled due to the straight shape of the implant neck, which minimizes bone tissue atrophy.
Attention! The actual length of the Helix (Straumann) implants is 0.5 mm less than the stated length, which ensures the immersion of the implants below the level of the cortical layer.
